what inspired your own fitness journey?
I had anxiety, depression, body dismorphia, disordered eating and low self-confidence. I was trying to change that, so I did what humans were meant to do-eat fresh whole foods and move better. It was really hard at first and I had no idea what I was doing, but I was determined to learn more.
Once I finally got the hang of things, I knew this was a life commitment! My life did a complete turn around and I felt reborn! I had a purpose and exercise strengthened my mind with each additional day. My life revolves around planning my meals and my workout times. I can not describe how incredible it feels to get stronger, try new exercises and finally feel good in this vessel that takes me through life! Movement feels like magic, and through exercise, I was reborn. I knew I had to share this "secret" with as many people as I could!
what inspired your own fitness journey?
As most fitness enthusiasts, we are drawn to physical activities and challenges from a very young age; however, my journey started before me. My journey started with my mother. As a stay at home mom, she found herself putting on additional weight due to lack of knowledge for exercise and nutrition. She knew she needed to break the generational curse due to both my parent's side of the family being plagued with high blood pressure, diabetes, and heart conditions. My mother influenced me to always be active.
Upon ending high school, I joined the military with the pursuit of wanting to do more. I became one of the command fitness leaders, as well as being the command search and rescue motivator, with the sole responsibility to keep the crew physically able to conduct daily routine aboard crafts, such as: destroyers, submarines, and amphibious--where I was stationed for 8 years.
What areas of training do you specialize in?
Corrective & functional movement, strength & conditioning for anyone and everyone who wants to move/look/feel better! Functional movement and corrective exercise is incorporated in all programs.
What is your method?
There are 3 foundational phases in my training program: endurance/stability, strength/hypertrophy, and power.
Whatever your goals are, we will work through these 3 phases to establish a neuromuscular connection (mind to muscle) and learn the basics by combining what you want (your specific goals) with what you need (improved functional movement & energy levels). Give me 3-4 months to teach you the basics, then you can either try it on your own or keep working with me. Regardless of your decision, you will dip your toes into a world of information about health, fitness, mindset, and nutrition. There's a lot of info out there and it can be tough knowing which health headlines to believe or toss out of your brain. I'm here to help you figure it out!

What is your method?
When you think personal training the first things that come to mind is either the cheerleader, the drill sergeant and the best friend coaching you and cheering you judgment free.I am very straight forward with my methods of training. We will master the fundamentals, build upon the movements, and discuss the purpose behind the movements. When people ask, "What are you doing?" you will be equipped with the knowledge to help others. Our teaching is built upon the saying, "Inspire Change, Inspire Greatness!"
